Overview
Under the name Human Ecological Future Europe, an independent citizens’ initiative is planned, with its starting point at municipal level in 2202 Enzersfeld, Lower Austria, Austria while being conceived in a broader European context.
It places people, quality of life and a respectful relationship with environment and resources at the center of political decision-making — initially at the local level and, in perspective, beyond.
The goal is politics guided by moderation, transparency and long-term responsibility — beyond party tactics and short-term thinking.
Human Ecological Future Europe understands municipality as living space, not merely as administrative apparatus, and sees local development as part of a wider European context.
Decisions should be comprehensible, socially balanced and oriented toward the common good.
Principles and Objectives
The initiative arises from the conviction that political shaping must once again align more closely with real living conditions — at municipal level as well as in the European context.
Enzersfeld serves as a pilot and model environment in which human-ecological principles can be practically tested, developed and made visible.
The initiative is conceived as an independent, fact-oriented platform of citizens committed not to partisan interests but to the common good. At its core stands a human-ecological perspective: the human being embedded in natural, economic and cultural environments — locally rooted, Europeanly connected.
It is not about ideology, but about reason, moderation and responsibility toward present and future generations.
Überblick
Unter dem Namen Humanökologische Zukunft Europa ist eine unabhängige Bürgerinitiative geplant, die ihren Ausgangspunkt auf kommunaler Ebene in 2202 Enzersfeld, NÖ, Österreich nimmt und zugleich in einem europäischen Kontext gedacht ist.
Sie stellt den Menschen, seine Lebensqualität und den respektvollen Umgang mit Umwelt und Ressourcen in den Mittelpunkt politischer Entscheidungen — zunächst auf Gemeindeebene, perspektivisch jedoch darüber hinaus.
Ziel ist eine Politik des Maßes, der Transparenz und der langfristigen Verantwortung — jenseits von Parteitaktik und kurzfristigem Denken.
Humanökologische Zukunft Europa versteht Gemeinde als Lebensraum, nicht als bloßen Verwaltungsapparat, und begreift kommunale Entwicklung als Teil eines größeren europäischen Zusammenhangs.
Entscheidungen sollen nachvollziehbar, sozial ausgewogen und am Gemeinwohl orientiert getroffen werden.
Grundsatz- und Zielerklärung
Die Initiative entsteht aus der Überzeugung, dass politische Gestaltung wieder näher an den realen Lebensbedingungen der Menschen ausgerichtet werden muss — auf kommunaler ebenso wie auf europäischer Ebene.
Enzersfeld dient dabei als Modell- und Erfahrungsraum, in dem humanökologische Prinzipien praktisch erprobt, weiterentwickelt und sichtbar gemacht werden können.
Die Initiative versteht sich als unabhängige, sachorientierte Plattform von Bürgerinnen und Bürgern, die nicht parteipolitischen Interessen, sondern dem Gemeinwohl verpflichtet ist. Im Mittelpunkt steht eine humanökologische Sichtweise: der Mensch eingebettet in seine natürliche, wirtschaftliche und kulturelle Umwelt — lokal verankert, europäisch vernetzt.
Es geht nicht um Ideologie, sondern um Vernunft, Maß und Verantwortung gegenüber heutigen und kommenden Generationen.
Technology, Artificial Intelligence & European Competitiveness
A central additional focus of the initiative concerns the structural transformation caused by digitalization, automation, robotics and especially artificial intelligence. These developments will fundamentally reshape education systems, labour markets, regional economies and public administration — at local, national and European levels.
In global comparison, Europe currently does not occupy a leading position in key technological fields such as AI infrastructure, large-scale innovation ecosystems and digital industrial capacity. While regulatory frameworks are important, sustainable competitiveness requires strategic investment, innovation acceleration and technological sovereignty.
Human Ecological Future Europe therefore advocates combining ecological responsibility with technological capability. Municipal pilot regions can serve as practical laboratories in which forward-looking models for education, regional value creation and AI-integrated public services are responsibly developed and tested.
The objective is not technological enthusiasm for its own sake, but responsible, human-centered innovation that strengthens social stability, economic resilience and Europe’s global position.

Technologie, Künstliche Intelligenz & Europäische Wettbewerbsfähigkeit
Ein zusätzlicher Schwerpunkt der Initiative betrifft die tiefgreifenden strukturellen Veränderungen durch Digitalisierung, Automatisierung, Robotik und insbesondere Künstliche Intelligenz. Diese Entwicklungen werden Bildungssysteme, Arbeitsmärkte, regionale Wirtschaftsräume und öffentliche Verwaltung auf kommunaler, nationaler und europäischer Ebene grundlegend verändern.
Im internationalen Vergleich nimmt Europa in zentralen technologischen Schlüsselbereichen wie KI-Infrastruktur, Innovationsökosystemen und digitaler industrieller Leistungsfähigkeit derzeit keine führende Rolle ein. Regulierung ist notwendig — sie ersetzt jedoch keine strategische Innovationskraft. Nachhaltige Wettbewerbsfähigkeit erfordert Investitionen, Beschleunigung von Innovation und technologische Souveränität.
Humanökologische Zukunft Europa tritt daher dafür ein, ökologische Verantwortung mit technologischer Kompetenz zu verbinden. Kommunale Modellregionen können als praktische Laborräume dienen, in denen zukunftsfähige Bildungsmodelle, regionale Wertschöpfungskonzepte und verantwortungsvoll integrierte KI-Anwendungen entwickelt und erprobt werden.
Ziel ist keine Technikbegeisterung um ihrer selbst willen, sondern eine verantwortungsvolle, am Menschen orientierte Innovationspolitik, die soziale Stabilität, wirtschaftliche Resilienz und Europas globale Position stärkt.
